Sarah is an experienced teacher, having taught  students across all primary year groups,  both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom where she lived for 10 years. Building strong and positive relationships with students and the wider school community is key for Sarah and she enjoys working with learners from diverse cultures.

Sarah has a particular passion and expertise in using the arts, particularly drama, as a way of enhancing learning across the curriculum. She has worked as a music, dance and drama specialist in schools and was a lecturer and advisor in the arts, helping other teachers to implement the arts curriculum.

Her love of the arts is reflected in her interests outside of school where she enjoys going to the theatre and music performances, reading, writing and being creative in other ways. Spending time with family and friends is also essential.
